The story goes something like this - BMW was supposed to build a street version of the E46 M3 GTR that was being raced in the ALMS series. This was so they could legally race the car. It is rumored that only 10 examples of the street version were built, but it wasn't enough to please ALMS. This poster was created to promote the car back in 2001. We got our hands on a limited number of these posters direct from BMW. We have never seen this available (and didn't know it existed) until we received a few. "The BMW M3 GTR - off the Americal Le Mans Series racetracks and onto the road." "Von der American Le Mans Series direkt auf die Straβe: der BMW M3 GTR." Remember, there were only 10 real cars ever made. We don't know how many posters were created, but you can be sure BMW didn't create a ton of these.
